Electives and University Requirements

Electives

Electives are meant to round out your education and allow you to learn new things unrelated to your major. They provide an opportunity to explore interests and pursue hobbies. MSU offers a huge diversity of courses and Human Biology students study a variety of topics, including turf grass, music, communication, art, business, and languages to name just a few. Electives help students reach the required 120 credits for graduation.

University Requirements

University requirements are also aimed at ensuring students receive a well rounded education. Required courses include writing, arts and humanities, and social sciences. As science students, you are not required to take additional general education science courses (ISP, ISB).
